Automated Packaging Line for Meat
DongFeng builds automated meat packaging lines around the products you handle and the packs you need to deliver. A line can combine vacuum packaging, hot-water shrinking, conveying, wrapping and labeling, with the equipment selected to suit your bag sizes, available floor space and required output. Some plants need a complete packaging line; others need to connect new equipment to an existing operation. The starting point is the same: establish the packaging process, then match the machines to it.
For meat packed in shrink bags, the usual sequence is loading, vacuum sealing and hot-water shrinking, followed by the required downstream handling. The vacuum packaging station must accommodate the largest product and bag in your range, while the shrinking stage needs to suit the bag material. Conveyors link the stations and keep packs moving through the process. Wrapping and labeling can be added where required. If your packs do not need shrinking, that stage can be left out of the meat vacuum packaging line.
Good packaging line design starts with the details of a working shift. How many pack sizes will you run? How often will operators change products? Where will meat enter the line, and where will finished packs go? These details affect loading arrangements, equipment spacing and access for cleaning. The target output also needs to be checked across the whole process, including any manual work. We define which operations are automated and which still require an operator when preparing the configuration.
